Dr. Betty Shabazz-Community Engagement

Challenge

Students at P.S. 298 wanted to create a community initiative that would engage and benefit the Brownsville community, reflecting their commitment to social responsibility.

Solution

Using How Can I?’s flagship curriculum, the student government devised a plan to host a clothing and food drive. They were guided in designing and distributing flyers to promote the event and encourage participation from both the school and the community.
